2026 FUTURITY OF THE WEST RULES

Entry fees are $200 per entry. Money will be jackpotted to Class Winners and to placing cattle. Number of paybacks will be determined by class size.
The Oregon Trail Consignment Sale will be responsible for penning, handling, watering and feeding, but is not liable for accidents to any people or animals during the entire duration of the event. Owners can provide their own feed and care to their entries if they prefer.
Standard interstate health papers will be required to unload cattle (except for Oregon cattle entered only in Futurity and not the Sale) along with entry information.
Class winners qualify for the Championship. A five-judge panel with all scores counting will decide winners. Judges’ decision is final.
Class winners can be entered into the Oregon Trail Sale Saturday Sale at the owner’s discretion. No consignment fee will be charged, but the sale commission applies. Health papers are necessary to enter the sale.
